Pros and Cons of Glueless Wigs

Here at the Virgin Hair Fantasy, we are glueless wig makers by choice, so that’s always our vote, when it comes to wigs. Why? Well, let’s talk more about the pros and cons of glueless wigs.
To start off, we love glueless wigs. It is safe, easy, and fun. In fact, glueless wigs are the safest ones on the market, as well. Second, if you like being able to switch your wig throughout the day to fit how you’re feeling. Wigs are a great way to show off your personal style, especially if you’re going for different looks throughout your day. So, it allows you to just live your full life without the commitment of the glue.
Another great benefit of a glueless wig is that it doesn't require any skill to apply the glue because all you have to do with a glueless unit is put it on! To put it on, you’ll need a special cap called a glueless cap. So make sure that comes with your new wig. In addition, when you're purchasing a wig online, make sure you verify with the wig maker that the wig you’re thinking about purchasing is a glueless piece because some pieces you have to glue down. When in doubt, always ask!
Some other huge pros of glueless wigs are that they work well for people that might be allergic to the chemicals in the wig glue. In addition, even if you don’t have a glue allergy,it can be complicated to apply it. If you have thinning edges, you also can't afford for wig adhesive to make your edge situation worse. For example, when the wind blows, your edges fall out, and you don’t want to lose any of that gorgeous hair!
There are also a few cons to using a glueless wig. The biggest is versatility in terms of pulling it up into certain styles and updos. A glueless unit updo is not your friend. It takes a lot of work maneuvering. Is it impossible? No, but it’s much, much more difficult than with a glued wig. So, you won’t be able to pull a glueless unit into an easy ponytail.
